Erin Gray was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on 7 January 1950. Gray moved from Hawaii to California with her family when she was eight, graduating from Pacific Palisades High School. He was 15 when a chance meeting with Nina Blanchard, the director of one of the top fashion agencies in Hollywood, told her what she had to do in life.In the prestigious group of Farrah Fawcett, Veronica Hamel and Susan Blakely, she moved to New York City and was one of the most sought after women in the world. Television audiences came across her advertisements for Breck, Max Factor, Clairol, Camay Soap and RC Cola, and a classic spot — for English Leather Cologne — in which she provocatively proclaimed, "My guys wear English Leather — or they're wearing nothing!"
