How tall is Ernest Hemingway?
Ernest Miller Hemingway was born in the suburb of Chicago, the first son of Clarence Edmonds Hemingway, a dentist, and Grace Hall Hemingway. He taught in public schools and began writing in high school, where he was active and outstanding, but the summers spent with his father on Walloon Lake, Upper Michigan were the most important areas of his life. Hemingway resumed his literary efforts, worked at odd jobs in Chicago for some time and moved to France as the Toronto Star international correspondent. Advised and supported in Paris by other American writers— F. Scott Fitzgerald, Gertrude Stein, Ezra Pound–his nonreported work began to be printed there.
