When he was four years old, Ethan started to do video advertisements as a way to spend time with his mother and he. After a few announcements, he was asked to wait for advertising and then films. When he was seven years old, he scored his first film appearance with Vince Vaughn in Fred Claus (2007) and shot at Chicago's hometown Michigan Avenue.Ethan was a major player at nine years of age in the film The Unborn (2009), in which he acted in a Jewish mythic entity known as Barto. Due to his ability to follow the course and keep an expressive face during the shooting, David Goyer was personally chosen by author / director. Ethan was excited to have the chance to play in this movie alongside Gary Oldman.
