Faith Renée Jordan (born 10 June 1973 in Evans) is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer and actress. Born in Lakeland, Florida, and born in New Jersey, Evans moved in 1991 to Los Angeles for a music industry career. Since working with Al B as a back up vocalist. She worked on the label with other band mates including 112 and Carl Thomas and released three platinum-certified studio albums from 1995 to 2001: Faith (1995), Hold the Faith (1998) and Faithfully (2001). She terminated her association with the company to sign with Capitol Records in 2003. Her first album released on the label, The First Lady (2005), was her highest-charting album at the time, hitting the top of the charts of the US Top R&B / Hip-Hop Albums, while the holiday album A Faithful Christmas, released the same year, would become her last release until the business was acquired in 2007.
