Fanny Lucía Martínez Buenaventura (born 8 February 1973) is a Colombian singer, songwriter and actress from Santiago de Cali, Colombia, best known professionally as Fanny Lu. She studied at the University of the Andes, graduating in Industrial Engineering. She is the mother of two children, Mateo and Valentina, and she is divorced at the moment. Her first work in the film industry was as hostess of a music website entitled Siempre Música in Colombia. Then she went on to radio presence in her country's key radio stations. She was not remembered until 1998, however, when she made part of the cast of Colombian soap opera Perro Amor.
