Antoine "Fats" Domino Jr. (26 February 1928 – 24 October 2017) was an American songwriter and pianist. One of the rock & roll music legends, Domino has sold more than 65 million songs. He'd had eleven Top 10 singles between 1955 and 1960. His modesty and shyness may be one reason to neglect his contribution to the genre.Domino had 35 records in the US during his career. Billboard Top 40 and five of his pre-1955 albums sold over a million gold certified copies. His musical style was based on traditional rhythm and blues, with saxophones, trumpet, piano, electric guitar and drums accompanying him.
