Fearne Wood (born 3 September 1981) is an British television and radio personality known professionally by her maiden name Fearne Cotton. She has presented tv shows like Top of the Pops and the Red Nose Day telethon. She was the first permanent female presenter of the Radio 1 Chart Show in 2007, which she co-hosted for two years with Reggie Yates. She went on to host her own program on Radio 1, airing from 2009 to 2015 each weekday morning. Cotton hosted The Xtra Factor, an ITV2 spin-off of the main series, in 2007. She anchored the programme for a year, before being replaced for the next season by Holly Willoughby.
