Fleur East (born 29 October 1987) is an English musician, songwriter, artist, actress, fitness model and radio host. In 2005, she appeared as a member of the girl group Addictiv Ladies on the second series of television singing competition The X Factor. She then began a solo career with the Strictly Rhythm record label in 2012 and recorded collaborations with house musicians including DJ Fresh and Drumsound & Bassline Smith. In 2014 East returned to The X Factor for her eleventh series as a solo artist, where she finished runner-up. During the competition with her performance of "Uptown Funk" (originally by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars), she was the first contestant of the series to hit number one on the UK iTunes store list
