Francine Joy Drescher was born to Sylvia Drescher, a bridal counselor, and Mort Drescher, a naval device researcher, on 30 September 1957 in Flushing, Queens, New York. Fran attended the Hillcrest High School in New York, as she is called, with another now-famous name, Ray Romano.She was a girl who was studious, and very popular. She'd first met the guy she thought she'd spend the rest of her life with, at the age of fifteen. Peter Marc Jacobson was that man. Her first break with John Travolta was in the iconic film, Saturday Night Fever (1977).
