Francis De Wolff was born in Essex, England, on 7 January 1913. He was an actor known for Love (1963), A Christmas Carol (1951) and Moby Dick (1956) from Russia. He married Linda Finch, Jean Fairlie and Melissa Dundas. He died in Sussex, England on 18 April 1984. He is a British actor although he also frequently plays European characters on screen. Burly, hirsute British character actor trained by RADA, with bright eyes and imposing appearance. Invariably portrayed in villainous roles, with a strong propensity towards horror. His sepulchral tones made him highly in demand for radio drama, too.
