How tall was Frank Capra?

Frank Capra, one of seven brothers, was born in Bisacquino, Sicily, on 18 May 1897. His father sailed for America on the ship Germania on May 10, 1903, arriving in New York on May 23. "There is no air, so it stinks like hell. They're all disgusting. That's the most humiliating place you might ever have been," Capra said of his journey across the Atlantic. Capra graduated from high school on 27 January 1915 and joined the Throop College of Technology (later the California Institute of Technology) in September of that year to study chemical engineering. The school's annual tuition was $250, and Capra had regularly received financial assistance from his relatives, who were accustomed to seeing a scholar among them.
