For four seasons, Garett Maggart appeared as "Blair Sandburg," opposite Richard Burgi in The Sentinel (1996), Pet Fly Productions ' one-hour action adventure show in tandem with UPN's Paramount Network Television. The series also airs on the Sci-Fi Network in syndication, and on Space in Canada.A artist of the second generation, Maggart was drawn to early acting, seeing his friend, actor Brandon Maggart. The first role of Garett was a brief cameo at the age of nine in the Robin Williams movie The World According to Garp (1982).Garett knew he wanted to become an actress, despite the chance to play a guest starring role in the pioneering showtime series Brothers (1984) that featured the elder Maggart. Both loving show business opportunities are his younger sisters, multi-platinum singer Fiona Apple and cabaret queen Maude Maggart.
