Gary Winston Lineker OBE (b. 30 November 1960) is a former English professional soccer player and current presenter of sports. He holds the record for goals for England in the final of the FIFA World Cup, with 10 scored. The television career of Lineker started with the BBC, where since the late 1990s he has hosted the flagship football show Match of the Day. He has also been working with Al Jazeera Sports, Eredivisie Live, NBC Sports Network and currently hosting UEFA Champions League coverage by BT Sport.
