Gayle King (born 28 December 1954) is an American tv presenter, author and broadcast journalist for CBS News, co-hosting her flagship morning show CBS This Morning, a role she has held since its debut in 2012. Additionally, she is an editor-in-large for O, The Oprah Report.King's career started as a production assistant on WJZ-TV in Baltimore, where she met Oprah Winfrey, the station's anchor at the time. King later worked for WUSA-TV in Washington, D.C. as a reporter.
