George Costigan is an Actor from England. Costigan was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire, and grew up in Salford, Lancashire. He went to the Wardley Grammar School at Mardale Street in Wardley, near Swinton, after leaving St Augustine's C of E Primary School on Bolton Road in Pendlebury. Since 1978 Costigan has been televising. He appeared in The Barchester Chronicles '1982 series, an adaptation of Anthony Trollope's novels, where he played Tom Towers' part. In 1984 he starred in the BBC Television Shakespeare production of King John's The Life and Death (along with Leonard Rossiter in the title role) as Philip the Coward.
