She joined a small theater club called "Upstagers" when she was young She started her acting career there, taking part in stage performances including "Babushka: A Christmas Story" and "The Pied Piper," before landing her first role in a movie.When Pippa Hall, casting director for The Chronicles of Narnia: The King, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) came to Georgie's town to play the four Pevensies in need of babies, she realized that Georgie was right for the part of "Lucy" after only one audition.
