Gilbert O'Sullivan (born Raymond Edward O'Sullivan; 1 December 1946) is an Irish songwriter, best known for his hits "Alone Again (Naturally)," "Clair" and "Get Down" in the early 1970s.He has charted 16 top 40 albums worldwide, including six No. 1 hits, the first of which was "Nothing Rhymed" in the 1970's. He has released 19 songs during his career, reaching his UK top 20 self-titled hit in 2018.
