Glen Matlock (born 27 August 1956) is an English musician best known for being the bass guitarist of the Sex Pistols punk rock band's original line-up. On 10 of the 12 songs on Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, he is credited as a co-author, although he had left the band before the recording sessions of the album began.He has collaborated with several other bands since leaving the Sex Pistols in 1977, as well as performing his own work. Following the death of his successor in the Sex Pistols, Sid Vicious, Matlock resumed bass guitar duties for subsequent meetings with Sex Pistols, including the 1996 Dirty Lucre Tour, the 2002 Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Concert
