She won four Joseph Jeffersons World Awards and was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards. Headly received the Theatre World Award. After moving to Chicago, she teamed with the St. Nicholas Theater New Works Ensemble. Finally, Robert Falls made her part of the team at the Goodman Theater production of Curse of Starving Class.
