On Ghost Whisperer, Haley Farrell in Bones and young Natalie Wood in Natalie Wood's The Case, Fulton played a young Melinda Gordon. She appeared in Back When We Were Grownups, a tv series, playing young Biddy.Fulton was born in the United States, on 17 July 1996. Her older brother, Soren, starred from 2000 to 2014 as a teenager in small television and movie roles while her daughter, actress Joan Shawlee, can better be remembered as Sweet Sue in the 1959 movie Some Like It Hot. Fulton studied as a ballerina as a child and youth, intending to become professional. She had spent a summer studying at London's Royal Ballet School in 2011.
