How tall was Harold Lloyd?
Harold Clayton Lloyd Sr. (April 20, 1893-March 8, 1971) was an American actor, comedian and stunt performer who appeared in several silent comedy films. Lloyd is regarded as one of the most influential film comedians of the silent movie era alongside Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. Between 1914 and 1947, Lloyd made close to 200 comedy films, both silent and "talkies."His dazzling character "Glass" was a resourceful, success-seeking go-getter who suited the American zeitgeist of the 1920s. His films also featured "thrill sequences" with extended chase scenes and spectacular athletic stunts. Lloyd hanging from a clock's hands high above the street (a trick shot in reality) in Safety Last! (1923) is one of the most enduring pictures in all of cinema.
