Kim Hyun-ah (born 6 June 1992) is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper and model, best known by the mononym Hyuna. In February 2007 she made her debut as a member of the girl group Wonder Girls. Only shortly after joining the band, Hyuna eventually left JYP Entertainment and joined the 4Minute girl group, under Cube Entertainment. 4Minute debuted in June 2009, and became one of the most popular girl groups in the country.Hyuna started a solo career in 2010, with a style she described as "performance-oriented music."[1] Her debut single" Switch "on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart charted at number two. In 2011, with the success of the first extended play Bubble Pop!, Hyuna received broader mainstream attention. Over three million digital downloads were sold of the title track and she became the first female K-pop solo artist to reach 100 million views on a single music video on YouTube.
