How tall is Ian Lavender?
Ian Lavender attended the West Midlands Technical College in Bournville, and later trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theater Institute. He received his diploma in 1967. He started to perform on stage at Canterbury and his first television role was the 1968 ATV comedy "Flowers At My Feet." He was then made Dad's Army's youngest cast member (1968), along with stars Arthur Lowe, John Le Mesurier, and John Laurie.Most of the later television work that Lavender did was in the form of comedic roles. Nevertheless, he is also an experienced performer on stage, having appeared in the repertory and at the West End. He loves cricket, golf and gardening.
