How tall was Ida Lupino?

Ida had been born into a show biz family in London. Her mother took Ida to an audition with her in 1933, and Ida received the role her mother requested. Photography was Her First Affaire (1932). In 1934 Ida, a bleached blonde, appeared in Hollywood and played minor and insignificant roles. One of her only notable movies was Peter Ibbetson (1935) and it wasn't until The Light That Burned (1939) that she got a chance to get better parts. She has been cast as the stern but compassionate woman from the wrong side of the tracks in several of her films. She has performed the role magnificently in The Sea Wolf (1941) and High Sierra (1941). It has been said no one can do dams of bad luck the way Lupino would do them.
