Jade Eshete (born 9 January 1985) is an actress on American TV and movies. She appeared on the Holistic Detective Department in the BBC America programme Dirk Gently. After graduation, Eshete started her professional career in commercial print modeling for brands such as L'Oreal Paris, Marshalls, QVC, Essence Fashion, Dark & Lovely and SoftSheen-Carson. [citation needed] She then transitioned into featured roles on stage, including the character Squeak in Gary Griffin's national musical tour The Color Purple.
