Jane Espenson was born as Jane Amanda Espenson on 14 July 1964 in Ames, Iowa, USA. Best for Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997), Husbands (2011), and Game of Thrones (2011), she is a producer and actor. She's one of the few long-term Buffy writers ever to have shot an episode of the series at mid-season 7. Jonathan (the smallest geek) and Spike (the errant vampire) were her favorite characters on Buffy.
