How tall is Jay Kay?
Jay Kay (born 30 December 1969 to Jason Luís Cheetham) is an English singer-songwriter. As a founding member and lead vocalist of the Jazz-funk band Jamiroquai, he rose to worldwide prominence.In 1992 Kay founded Jamiroquai. Toby Smith (keyboards), Nick Van Gelder (drums, 1992–1993), Derrick McKenzie (drums, 1994–present), and Wallis Buchanan (didgeridoo) are band members. Kay signed a US$ 1 million record contract with Sony Soho2, following the success of Jamiroquai's first single, When You Gon na Know. First album the band recorded on Planet Earth was Emergency. Sony's link ended in 2007. The band has sold more than 26 million albums worldwide. Because of the belief that the band is simply a solo artist, Kay is often referred to as ' Jamiroquai. '
