He was the host of NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from 1992 to 2009, after performing stand- for years. Leno began a primetime talk show in September 2009, called The Jay Leno Show, which aired at 10:00pm ET on weekdays.Leno returned to host The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on March 1, 2010, after The Jay Leno Show was cancelled in January 2010 following a host scandal. He hosted his final episode of The Tonight Show on February 6, 2014. He was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame that year. Leno has been the star of Jay Leno's Garage since 2014.
