How tall is JC Chasez?
Joshua Scott Chasez was born on August 8, 1976, and raised in Bowie, Maryland. He was incredibly shy as a child, but when a friend offered him $20 to join a two girls talent competition, he won the contest and quickly learned that he had a passion for acting, and that he truly loved singing. In 1988, his mother Karen Chasez spotted a brief ad for a casting call for a new version of The Mickey Mouse Club, The Brand New Mickey Mouse Club (1989), in the local newspaper. She offered him the option to go to school or take an open call audition. He has been cast along with many of today's stars including Keri Russell, Tony Lucca, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Justin Timberlake. (Because Josh was named another cast member, Chasez was nicknamed "J.C." (his first and last initials), and the stage name remains.
