How tall is Jean Louis Trintignant?
Raised in 1930 as the son of a wealthy industrialist in Piolenc, south France. Studied law in Aix-en-Provence. Started theater acting in 1950, but was deemed untalented at first, until he was spotted for the movies by Roger Vadim. He escaped into the army after the press stalked him in 1956 because of allegations of an adultery with his partner Brigitte Bardot in ... And God Made Her (1956). Ten years later A Man and a Woman (1966) had his first major success. He has since appeared in over 100 plays, with a particular talent for the dark roles such as killers or angry wives. Today he prefers films to theater.
