How tall is Jeffrey Archer?
Jeffrey Howard Archer (born April 15, 1940) is a writer from England, a retired politician, a perjurer accused and a domain peer. Archer was a Member of Parliament (1969–1974) before becoming an author, but he did not seek re-election after a financial crisis that left him nearly bankrupt. He resurrected his fortunes as a best-selling novelist; about 330 million copies of his books were sold worldwide. Archer was the Conservative Party's vice chairman (1985–86), before resigning after a publication charged him with paying money to a prostitute. He won a legal battle in 1987 and was paid substantial damages on the claim. He was made a life peer in 1992 and subsequently was the Tory candidate to be London's first elected mayor.
