Jem, also known as Jem and the Holograms, is an American animated musical television series airing from 1985 to 1988 on the first-run syndication and from 1989 to 1992 on USA Network in the United States; from 1986 to 1987 on CITV to the late 80's; from 1992 to 1994 on UK Gold; from 1994 on The Children's Channel (then: TCC) and from 1987 to 1990 on Sky One's Fun Factory / Sky One's The DJ Kat Show in UK. The show was a collaborative venture between Hasbro, Sunbow Productions and Marvel Productions, the same team that is in charge of G.I. Joe and Transformers. Christy Marx, the show' producer, also had been a staff writer for the programs listed above. Japanese film company Toei Film provided the animation for several of the series. The ser
