Yuvraj Singh Dhesi born July 19, 1986 is a Canadian professional wrestler signed to WWE as a performer under the ring name Jinder Mahal. He grew up in a wrestling family as the nephew of Stampede Wrestling legend Gama Singh. He first started at the Martial Arts Fitness Center where he had a successful career. Later he moved to Florida to try out WWE's developmental promotion Florida Championship Wrestling. Mahal became the 50th WWE Champion and the first wrestler of Indian descent to win the WWE Championship
