John Beck was born in Chicago, Illinois, USA on January 28, 1943. He is an actor, known for Sleeper (1973), Rollerball (1975), and Black Day Blue Night (1995). Since 24 April 1971, he is married to Tina Carter. They have four kids. He was encouraged by his tutors to try to serve as a way to conquer his extreme shyness. Having performed in a high school play at age 16, he was motivated. He came to California at the age of 19 in 1962, and originally made his money by working in television advertisements. He made his first appearance on TV as an actor in Jeannie's I Dream (1965) episode, Jeannie's I Dream: Russian Roulette (1965).
