How tall was John Belushi?
John Belushi was born to Agnes Demetri (Samaras) and Adam Anastos Belushi, a restaurant owner, on January 24, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. His father was an Albanian immigrant from Qytezë and Albanian heritage was also his mother. He grew up in Wheaton, where he was six when the family moved. After graduating in 1967, John played in a number of roles in summer stock in rural Indiana from "Cardinal Wolsey" in "Anne of a Thousand Days" to a comedic detective in "Ten Little Indians". In 1971 John made the move to "Second Place" itself where he appeared with others, including Harold Ramis and Joe Flaherty, in numerous on-stage comedic productions. John enjoyed his life in "Second Place" where he played six days a week, perfecting the comedy-style physical "gonzo" he later made popular.
