John Sidney Linnell (born June 12, 1959) is an American singer, known mainly as one-half of the Brooklyn-based progressive rock band They Might Be Giants. In addition to singing and songwriting, he plays the group's accordion, bass and baritone saxophone, clarinet and keyboards.The songs of Linnell cover unusual subject matter and word play.
