How tall was John Phillip Law?
John Phillip Law (September 7, 1937-May 13, 2008) was an actor in American film. Following a breakthrough appearance as a Russian sailor in The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming (1966), Law is better known for his role as gunfighter Bill Meceita in the Spaghetti Western Death Rides a Horse (1967) with Lee Van Cleef, the blind angel Pygar in the classic science fiction film Barbarella (1968) with Jane Fonda, title character in the horror adventure film Danger: Diabolik (Danger: Diabolik). Following graduation, Law traveled to New York where he practiced acting and signed a contract with Fox for seven years. He knew that it was a mistake and so moved back to New York. He played a minor role in the Broadway comedy Come On High (1962) by Garson Kanin, which was a flop.
