John Sharian is an American actor (born John Shahnazarian). He may be best known for his role in the 2004 movie The Machinist. In 1991, Sharian graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theater School and began acting on television soon afterwards, starring in the Red Dwarf series of British sci-fi comedies in 1992. The film career of Sharian started in 1994 with his appearance as one of the leading figures in Death Machine and later in American films Lost in Space Saving Private Ryan. He also appeared in The Machinist.
