Jon Finch (2 March 1942 – 28 December 2012) was an English stage and film entertainer who turned out to be notable for his Shakespearean jobs. Most outstandingly, he featured in films for executives Roman Polanski (Macbeth, 1971) and Alfred Hitchcock (Frenzy, 1972). In the wake of acting in beginner theater gatherings and singing in a people gathering, Finch did his National Service in The Parachute Regiment and remained on as an individual from the SAS Reserve Regiment, preparing at ends of the week and a few evenings every week. He left the military as his acting duties turned out to be more demanding and expressed he was calmed to not need to go to Borneo during the Indonesian Confrontation (1963–66).
