Jonah Tali Lomu MNZM (12 May 1975 – 18 November 2015) was a New Zealand rugby union player. When he played his first international in 1994 at the age of 19 years and 45 days, he was the youngest All Black. Played on the wing Lomu finished his international career with 63 caps and 37 tries. He is considered the first real global rugby champion and therefore had a major influence on rugby game.On 9 October 2007, Lomu was inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame, and on 24 October 2011 the IRB Hall of Fame was. During the Hong Kong Sevens competition in 1994, Lomu exploded into the international rugby scene, making his fifteen-a-side debut the same year.
