Jonathan Farwell (born January 9, 1932) is an American actor in film, television, and Broadway. He is best known on CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless for his soap opera appearance as George Rawlins. Jonathan Farwell was born in Lansing, Michigan to the composer Arthur Farwell and the actress Gertrude Everts Brice. On 23 July 1955 he married the actress Joerle Anne Gaines (professional Jo Farwell). Together they had two children: Alison Beatrice Farwell (born 1958), and Elisabeth Evelyn Farwell (born 1961). They split in 1977, but never divorced.
