Josh Gates (born 10 August 1977) is an American TV host, TV director, and journalist. He was Destination Truth and Stranded's host and co-executive producer on Syfy, and now presents and co-executive produces Expedition Unknown and even Legendary Places, the Travel Channel show.He's also recognised as the host of several live specials for the TV show Ghost Hunters and its spin-off Ghost Hunters International, and a guest detective on it. Via his production company Ping Pong Productions, he produces the associated Ghost Country show along with other paranormal television programmes.
