Joshua Winslow Groban (born 27 February 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer, known for his uniquely dusky tenor voice. His first four solo albums were multiplatinum certified and he was charted as the number one best-selling artist in the United States in 2007, with over 22.3 million copies. He'd sold more than 25 million albums worldwide as of 2012.Groban initially studied acting but as his voice grew he switched to music. Groban attended Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, a private public school on the California State University campus, Los Angeles, where students pursue an education in the conservatory model.
