Josephine d'Arby is a Welsh tv personality and author. She hosted numerous high-profile series and became the first British woman to anchor her own Talk show on Channel 5 in 1999.Josie d'Arby was born and raised in Newport, Gwent. She visited the Anna Scher Theatre in London as a student, until she received a spot at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. D'Arby launched a presentation career while still an acting student at RADA. Between 1994 and 1997, she hosted at CBBC and SMart from 1996 to 1998, and in 1999 she got her own show, Josie, on Channel 5.
