Jouko Ahola (born 1 December 1970) is a former strongman, power-lifter, and actor from Finland. Jouko is best known for both capturing the Strongest Man of the World in 1997 and 1999, and coming second in 1998. Ahola has won twice, in 1998 and 1999, the Europe's Strongest Man contest and finished fourth in 1996. In 1997 and 1999, Jouko became the Best Team in the World, and was second in 1998. Ahola set the Hercules keep world records (45.7 sec, 197 kg) and Atlas Stones (215 kg). He is one of the nine men in the World's Strongest Man category to be a repeat winner. At 6 '1 "(1.85 m) and 275 lbs (125 kg), Jouko was a very good strongman athlete, leading to a BMI of 35.8 which is small to WSM standards.
