Julie Ege was born as Julie Dzuli on 12 November 1943, in Sandnes, Norway. She was an artist, known for Secret Service On Her Majesty (1969), Not Now Darling (1973) and Any Home Should Have One (1970). She was married to Erland Skatten and Alf Kruger-Monsen. She died in Oslo, Norway on 29 April 2008. The head of Hammer Film Studios, Sir James Carreras, awarded the title "The Modern Sex Symbol of the 70s." In his Creatures the World Missed (1971) Hammer portrayed her as a not-so-glamorous prehistoric gal. The movie was a flop, but Julie went on a promotional tour around the world and became a top pin-up model.
