Raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, when she was eight years old Gonzalo moved to Miami, Florida. Her first acting role came at the age of 20 and she made several TV appearances in the early 2000s, as well as appearing in several high-profile films (including Freaky Friday (2003)), but her breakthrough role came in 2006 when she won Parker Lee's role in Veronica Mars (2004).Has appeared with Chad Michael Murray in two movies: Freaky Friday (2003), and A Cinderella Story (2004). Speaks spanish fluently. If she does press junkets for the Spanish-speaking media for her films she does so exclusively in Spanish, which has made her a very successful young celebrity for Latinos and Latin Americans.
