Karen Jane Allen (born 5 October 1951) is an American actress of the cinema and the theater. After making her film debut in Animal House (1978), she is better known for her depiction of Marion Ravenwood in front of Harrison Ford in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), a part she later took on for Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull Kingdom (2008). She also co-starred in Starman (1984) and Scrooged (1988).Her scenic work included Broadway productions.
