How tall is Karen Elson?
Karen Jill Elson (born January 15, 1979) was born in Oldham, Greater Manchester, and attended North Chadderton School as a child. She has a twin pal, actress Kate Elson. Debra Burns, the director of Boss Model Management in Manchester, had met Elson at the age of 16. She started modelling locally and a year after, she left Oldham. Steven Meisel photographed Elson on her 18th birthday for the cover of Italian Vogue, thereby launching her career all over the world. She has collaborated with several of the biggest fashion photographers and fashion designers around the world, including Arthur Elgort, Bruce Weber, Mario Testino, Peter Lindbergh, Mert and Marcus, Steven Klein, Patrick Demarchelier, Helmut Newton and Ellen Von Unwerth.
