Karen Lynn Gorney is Saturday Night Fever's romantic star (1977): the dance partner and dream girlfriend who said "no" to John Travolta and won his heart in this mega-hit movie, released in raves. The legendary "Tara Martin" (Erica's mortal enemy) on ABC's award-winning All My Children (1970) is also Miss Gorney.A classically trained model, and recipient of the People's Choice and European Bravo Awards, Karen has a BFA in Acting and Speech from Carnegie Mellon and an MFA from Brandeis University. She got raves in New York City, and she did everything from William Shakespeare to Neil Simon in the United States. Numerous experimental films by Karen include A Robbery (2006), with Harvey Keitel, and Looking for Bobby D (2005) [DeNiro], with Sandra Bernhard.
